What’s included
Gary will take you to your destination and set you up with hides and the best quality modern equipment that will include a Pigeon-magnet, Flapper or a Bouncer to meet the requirements of the day.
Access by quad will be provided where needed. Gary will supervise your day and help you to get the best shooting opportunities. Shotgun cartridges, lessons and tuition can be provided in the field if requested in advance, please ask us for prices.
We will supply a tasty sandwich and drinks, and you are welcome to bring your own snacks or additional food as required, but strictly no alcohol is allowed in the field.
Pricing information
We offer a fixed-rate day, per gun. This gives you the certainty of knowing what you will be paying. There will be no “hidden extras” or surprises and we aim to provide the best value day for your money. We can also organise Goose Shooting and Game Shooting days, Stalking and Fly-fishing. Please ask for more information if you are interested in any of these activities.
Accommodation
Angus Sporting can arrange accommodation for you if required or we are more than happy to recommend hotels or bed and breakfast establishments in the area. We do some fantastic package deals if more than one day is required and would be delighted to discuss further your requests.
Shooting Season
Pigeon shooting is a year-round activity, and Pigeons are shot on Winter Rape and Spring drills and this usually starts at the beginning of February up to the end of April. From the end of June to the middle of September they are shot over harvested crops. Angus Sporting Ltd can also accommodate a number of dates between October and the end of January each year.
